Step-by-step guide for setting up new accounts in Mission Control. Includes Shopify and media integrations, system settings, and user access.

Before You Begin

Before onboarding a client in Mission Control, confirm you have the required permissions for Shopify and all relevant advertising platforms. Proper access is required to install apps, connect integrations, and complete setup without delays. Refer to the Integrations Permissions Guide for detailed access requirements and setup instructions.

Register Your Client

Go to https://app.lunarmc.ai/login and sign in using your email and password. After logging in click Register a Client to begin creating a new client account. Complete the registration form with the Company Name (this is how the client will appear in Mission Control), Company URL, and Business Type, then click Submit to create the account. After registration, you will be redirected to the Select a Client page. Locate your newly created client in the dropdown menu, select the client name, and click Submit to continue. Nice work! The new client account is now set up in Mission Control. Next, connect the client’s data sources to power Summary Dashboard, Channel Dashboards, and Custom Reports.

Integrations

Navigate to the Integrations page under Administration in the left sidebar. From here, connect the client’s core data sources, including Shopify, Google Analytics, and any paid media platforms the client actively uses.

Shopify

In the Integrations search bar, enter Shopify and select Connect. When prompted, enter the client’s Shopify store URL. Important: The store URL must use the format clientname.myshopify.com (not the public storefront domain).

Install the Mission Control Shopify App

After clicking Connect, you will be redirected to the Mission Control app listing in the Shopify App Store. With the appropriate Collaborator Access, click Install to install the Mission Control app on the client’s store.

Meta

In the Integrations search bar, enter Meta and click Connect. If the correct ad account and page permissions have been granted, you will be able to search for and select the client’s Meta Ad Account Name or Ad Account ID from the dropdown menu to complete the connection. In the Integrations search bar, enter Google Ads: MCC and click Connect. As long as the client has been added to the Lunar or MuteSix MCC you will be able to search for and select the clients’ Google Ad Account Name from the dropdown menu to complete the connection.
